Who are we?
UOW Rotaract Club is a dynamic group of empowered young people and students who want to ‘make a difference’ in the community and the world. We aspire to engage in both the local and international community, develop our skills set and become part of an impressive network. All while having lots of fun! Our members engage in a wide range of activities including social, professional and community events. This can include participating in charitable events/challenges, environmental or sustainable projects, addressing social issues and improving the experiences our members along the way. We meet every second Monday for our fortnightly meetings at 6:30pm. Details for the location and other information is posted on our Facebook page.

Where do we meet?
Further details are posted on our Facebook page, however, it is usually at the University of Wollongong campus or somewhere local in Wollongong. When we are unable to meet in person, meetings are held over zoom and the link is provided on the Facebook event.

Q Do you have to be a university student to be a member?

No! While other university clubs may operate differently, we do not require you to be enrolled at uni to be able to join our club.

Q I have ideas on some projects that we can do, how do I make them reality?

Our club is very welcoming of new and innovative ideas and very much encourage anyone to join in discussions and put your ideas forward. It can be intimidating to speak up at times but the best way to get things done is to put yuorself out there 🙂
